Students signing into BotanyNet    Accessing Live @ edu SkyDrive
ALL STUDENT accounts have been reset for 2012
                    
           
User ID
is your student ID number, e.g. 10489, 9243, etc.
This will affect all student who used to have their name as their login.

Password is initially is your birthdate in the form ddmmyyyy (without spaces or slashes) but without zero for day e.g.

14 November 1996 = 14111994
2 July 1999 =
2071999]

Be sure to change your password when you sign in for the first time.

           
NEW STUDENTS who enrolled after 27 January will have the User ID as on the left but your password will have been automatically generated and may be changed at Student Services.

Note that if you do not have a NSN then accounts will not be created.


Forgotten passwords?

Network Passwords
are available or can be reset at Student Services outside class time.

BotanyNet passwords

If you have set an individual email address that you have access to then you can reset your password during sign in and an email will be sent to that address (this reset expires in 1 hour).

If you haven't set an email addrees then p
asswords can be reset at Student Services.
Go to skydrive.com or outlook.com or use the link on your desktop.

Sign in with your BDSC Windows Live ID =
name.lastname.IDNumber@my.bdsc.school.nz  

Password = BDSC network password

Having difficulty accessing BotanyNet from home?
Search for wireless networks, connect to BDSC Student Wireless

Password: botanydowns575

Once connected, go to your browser. You will need to log in. NB. Security settings must be set to accept BDSC Stduent Wireless.

Login: bdsc\firstname.lastname
Password: network password
